This game was so surprisingly good! very funny little anti game, had some serious fun and laughs doing all the voicing over the hilarious dialogue. 11/10ign would play again!

This game is amazing. The comedy, the story, the twists and turns, everything. I can't wait to find the other endings. Also you're my dad now, just letting you know.

We played this game about things and it was pretty amazing! You can watch the playthrough here complete with voice acting. Give it a watch and can't wait to try out the other endings.

This game is what I imagine being high is like. It did make me laugh though!

I really dug this! Tbh, I'm a little old for this type of humor, but I was really into it back in the day. Invader ZIM randomness, etc. This game is just silly and fun, and I really appreciated that. Sure there isn't a super amazing plot or anything like that, but at the end of the day it did it's job--be enjoyable. Thanks for giving me something different to play, this is why I like indie games!

I made a Lumps Play, hope you like it. My commentary is Pop-up style like old school vh1 videos from the 90s. If you're looking for something different and aren't afraid of words, check me out:

Thank you for playing! I filled this game with references and humor I personally like, without any serious plans or scripts.

Glad you enjoyed it, I like your style a lot :)

Warning - A few spoilers.

I love this game. I actually laughed out loud for a solid 30 seconds during the lamp scene, it was amazing. I absolutely loved the art style and the music. Two suggestions:

  • Add vsync, the game runs at an uncapped FPS, so it makes any video card (I have a R9 390, for example) perform at it's full capacity for no reason.
  • Remove ~ key as exit key. I accidentally clicked it a few times forcing me to start over. Maybe change it to something we're less likely to click, or make a small in-game menu.

The Hakevesh Hashishaasar nod was nice, as well as the suicidal people's comments. Oddly enough, I found you through the credits of a Tom Scott subtitle, I've always wondered who makes these for Hebrew, since I didn't think there were that many subs from Israel, and I guess that I've found my answer.

Toda Raba, glad you enjoyed it! I was waiting to see when someone will get the small Israeli references I sprinkled in. As I have said countless times, this game was almost entirely improvised, and I just put them in for fun.

Vsync and the exit key were admittingly oversights; it's the sort of things you put in for development builds and then forget to build upon. Since it's a small, freeware game, I didn't really mind these frankly, but I will improve this in future games.

Tom Scott is wonderful indeed, and I frankly don't know how many Israelis watch his stuff; I recommend his channel to pretty much everyone, though. I do know there are at least 2 other translators other than me and I have even spoken with one of them. Glad someone reads the credits :)

Cool. Just a question, how much time did it take you to make the game?

(+1)

Start of August - Start of October, so almost 2 months, but this is mainly due to the fact I had no idea what I was doing

Here is the second part of the playthrough and the first ending that I got. Man, this game was a trip, and I loved it!

I was addicted to the art and storyline for this game! The art kind of reminded me of Space Funeral to be honest. There was a lot of great dialogue, and I really enjoyed the unique twist and such for the ending I received. I really hope i can figure out the other two endings and some easter eggs to do another LP, so I'll for sure check out the development video. Thank you for making such an interesting game. Worth the donation.

i honestly was given the impression this was something about memes and such when i saw the green hand in the thumbnail (i now know is just odd lighting) and what looked like a blunt in his hand, so i had a mindset of dank memes and other stupid internet stuff, but was instead faced with an interesting world full of it's own unique bizarre story, i recommend a play, it should only take an hour or two tops

good going engie, hope your next game gets a little less long winded and alot less self conscious, but it was interesting to see a game take such an interesting direction, and for the record, i went through 2 endings, it just was hard for me to portray the game without spoilers and maintain an interesting specticle for those not playing, especially with my bad reading

.... IS THIS FROG FRACTIONS 2?!

Seriously though, this is one incredible game. Lamp for president 2016.

(+1)

Actually this game started out as a darker and more serious survival horror game but within 90 days turned into this incredible mess.

Glad you liked it, the lamp's response is: "LAMPS STILL DON'T TALK. WHY DO YOU PRESIST."

P.S. Ultra boosted on Adderall while playing this. Had never related to a game so well.

Amazing work <3
